Workshop overview:
This online workshop will focus on the process, rules, and vocabulary considerations for cataloging board games and other types of game-related physical materials. Starting with an overview and demonstration of cataloging a 3-D object, participants will learn how to apply these principles to catalog games and gaming collections. The workshop will devote significant time to discussing the specialized vocabularies used to describe specific types of games and gameplay elements, with the aim of creating more precise records that will help users find a game they will enjoy playing.
